A 12-year-old boy is battling for his life after a dog bite at Afigyase Senchi in the Ashanti region.

The victim, Osei Kofi, went into a coma three days after the dog bite.

The victim has been paralyzed for two years after the bite.

Abigail Pokua, the victim’s mother, told the host, Sofomaame Naana Hayford, that the victim (her son) was declared abnormal by doctors after being admitted to Offinso Hospital.

According to the woman, the sad incident happened to her son when he paid a visit to his grandmother’s (the mother of the victim’s mother) at Afigyase Senchi during the COVID era.

“My child paid a visit to his grandmother at Afigyase Senchi during the COVID era.” My mother called me and informed me that my child had been bitten by a dog. She told me the dog that bit my child had bitten nine people, including my child, “she told Sofomaame Naana Hayford.”

Pokuaa added that the owner of the dog has since not been located.

All efforts to make the victim’s life come to normalcy, according to the mother, had proven futile.
